The recent surf excel Mitha pani advertisement and people describing the kid in it as cute remind me of a similar although much more real scene from Swadesh.
The kid is bringing water in both scenes but can you spot the real India ?

i can understand the parallel you want to manifest. obviously real development as we all know lies in the development at the bottom of the pyramid. really appreciate your way of thinking.!
Yup it is disturbing to see that the recent developments India has made have affected only a minuscule segment of our population.
While the condition in the villages and urban slums continues to get worse.
What Future do we have as a nation if we can not assure basic health and education for the kids.
